About Me

I am a PhD student at the RAND School of Public Policy and a Non-Resident Fellow at IFP based in Washington, DC. I focus on artificial intelligence and American national security.

At RAND, I work in CAST to advise government agencies on AI deployment, developing policy options and technical measures to enhance reliability and security. For my doctoral research, I am comparatively evaluating national defense strategies to counter AI threats.

At IFP, I work on The Launch Sequence, a collection of ambitious projects to prepare for advanced AI. We are actively searching for the most promising ideas and talent to accelerate science, strengthen security, and adapt institutions. If you have any leads, please reach out.

Previously, I studied computer science and machine learning at Georgia Tech, graduating with a BS and an MS. I interned as a data scientist at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, Federal Reserve Board, and Washington Post.
